I'm still struggling to get good photos so had to scan - didn't help that this card is quite thick because of the pyrimage.

I can see that this will be another card that is taken to pieces and something different made from it.

Thank you Ann, Max & Jane for encouraging me!!!
Just a few lines to explain exactly why I'm not happy with this card.
I do like the topper, & I'm pleased with the handmade CD holder - I will be re-using both of those - I need to do a CD for my friend with holiday photos on (from nearly 3 years ago and still not done) so a CD holder in the Christmas card would be ideal.
It is the base card that lets the whole thing down.
When I punched the holes for the ribbon the card split and the holes look as though they have been chewed around the edges. I tried to cover it up with eyelets as I had some lovely white snowflakes but unfortunately I had a bad batch - there was only one of the right size that actually had the bit that goes through the card to squash on the other side. So I had to substitute some grey star shaped brads which I'm not at all keen on.
It doesn't show on the photos because I hid it with the ribbon - which incidentally is really a lovely silver colour & not the dirty grey colour it looks on the pictures.

Janet you are way too hard on yourself. I think that when the card is not flattened by the scanner it will look brilliant. Your inner pocket for the CD is a great idea. I do hope you don't pull this to bits - it would be a real shame.

don't be so hard on yourself Janet it is a lovely card xx
Hi Janet. I was expecting to see something awful after reading how unhappy you were with the result - but was pleasantly surprised to find this adorable CD holder card.
We all have times when we're dissatisfied with our efforts and it's ok to feel like that. No doubt you will feel the need to do something with it to create something else you are happier with, but I agree with Ann that it would be a shame to pull it to bits, as it is a lovely idea. Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
