This blog was set up for the sole purpose of getting me more organised

especially with Christmas cards - by joining in challenges.

Let me explain the blog title.  When I moved up here many years ago I got quite a lot of furniture from my grandma who had just moved into a nursing home.  My table was one item,  & it was a gate-leg table. I didn't find it sturdy enough to do some of my crafting on so I have been looking for the perfect replacement - a table with a leg on each corner.  People laughed at me when I said I wanted a table with a leg on each corner.  

At Easter 2012 my sister & I were looking at reclining chairs for our parents when I saw a  table in the sale - it had three matching chairs & one odd one.  The odd chair was because the fourth matching chair was broken - but it is only the rail at the bottom that is loose - so I have a new table and five chairs.  It is very solidly built and has a leg on each corner. It fits perfectly in the window of the lounge,  but will open out to double the size if needed.


I started this blog a few years ago, when I was making a lot of cards.  Recently I have struggled to make cards and have dropped out of forums and groups as I wasn't contributing to them.  I am still crafting and hope to get back into the swing soon.  

In the meantime I will extend this blog and add posts about places I have visited and other things that interest me.
