Flashback Friday 21 - paper piecing. I have never done any, so no flashback :( - something new to try. Searched & found a lot about quilting & material - not what I wanted. Then I found this. Paper Piecing is another way to make your stamped images different. Explains it perfectly (for me) I can try it on the spare stamp from last week - hair & face coloured OK went iffy on clothes and penguins - solution paper piecing means stamp & colouring in not wasted. Yay!! (or YAT!!! as my kindling friends say) So this effort will be photographed and added to this post later.
The other cards that I need to make this week are one for my sister - her birthday is next week, and one for my parents - their 55th Wedding Anniversary is Friday.
Mm - I wrote that post a month ago & never finished it. I did finish the cards I needed though.
I also started a new project - & I will blog about that when I have finished it.
So I'm off to check the latest card challenges & see if I can rustle anything up for any of them.
So - Flashback Friday 22.0! First project using a die cut!
The first card that I blogged had a die cut shape on it - a nestie label shape. The card is a bit rough - but it was my very first blog post as well. I would like to think that my card making has improved since then - sadly I don't think it has.

So cute! I like that cute little flower cone wrapping and the border punch! Thanks for playing at Flashback Friday!
This card is so pretty, and for your first die cut, I am sure that your first post was a success! My first post, I did not have a card to share, it was all about, I did not do this for my blog! Thanks for joining us this week for Flashback Friday 22.0, it's all about having fun looking back so I hope you enjoyed that aspect. Oh by the way, good luck in the drawing for the prize!
Beautiful card - I love purple so it's definitely won me over! I love the flower soft too. Really pretty, hugs, Jayne x
a much more impressive card than my first attempts! and like the flower soft - I've never tried it as I have a feeling that more of it would be on the floor than the card lol!

I love the purples (I find that a hard colour to use!) and the Flower Soft is such a perfect accent. I should get mine out :)
Thanks so much for linking up with Flashback Friday!!
The die makes a beautiful frame for your flowers!
