Wednesday evening
Bah! Humbug! want us to surprise them this week. Well they ought to be surprised that I am still joining in - I think I've only missed making a card on two weeks so far this year. I must point out that several of the originals do not exist any more, having been cannibalised, remade or destroyed. I usually try to combine a few of the Christmas challenges, but this week the various challenges are so different I am struggling to do that. In fact my mind is a total blank - & my table is covered with scraps of paper, card, glitter card & toppers which are all unusable after my latest efforts. I am going to call a halt now & see if I can manage to rustle something up in the morning. If blogger is behaving - it seems to have gone a little squiffy today.
Thursday Morning.
Blogger still seems to be playing up & messing about. My card attempts this morning turned out worse than last nights. However I have something that resembles a card. It consists of a part made card that I abandoned previously when I couldn't decide what to do next after I had folded & cut it. Today I stuck vellum & matching glitter card on, but then was stuck as to what to do next. The middle piece needs something - all I could think of was a bit of ribbon. Not sure about it (so what is new). However it is blue so I will also enter it onto CHNC challenge 23 - Wintertime blues. Also the Christmas Cards All Year 'Round - June challenge - Anything Goes
I had also had a go at stamping directly onto cardstock & made a mess of that too - today is one of those days when I start thinking that it is time to give up. And I should be making 5 special family cards over the next week or so.

Apologies for my late arrival ... seem to be constantly turning up late these days lol!
Really like the matching vellum and glitter card and agree he ribbon looks a wee bitty lonely so maybe a sparkly snowflake or charm hanging from it would be the right finishing touch? Thank you for sharing with us at Bah! Humbug!
