November

I feel as though I have been really busy over the last few weeks, with family and friends visiting, and dog walking duties.  I’ve not kept up with the Christmas card challenges at all this year, and quite a lot of them are coming to the end of this year’s challenges.   I’m hoping to manage a few entries before the year end.

Hazel who runs one of the challenges that I have entered in the past is starting a new challenge blog next year - Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Monthly Extra challenges.   This is what Hazel says about her new challenges

This blog is a 'spin off' from my Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge blog that has now been running successfully for nearly two years.
Starting at the beginning of 2013 I challenge you to add any Christmas card to this blog - challenges will be monthly, with a prize at the end of the month for a randomly chosen winner.

As an extra treat there is some Christmas themed candy on offer too.

I have some cards to get on with this week, and I’m hoping to use some of my new goodies that I have bought over the last couple of weeks – some new dies and embossing folders and some beads.

I have already had a play with some of the beads, mum and I sat down yesterday afternoon and made some Shamballa bracelets.  Mum made the one with the blue stone and I made the rest

Hopefully my next post will be full of cards that I have made!
