My sister & family were visiting this weekend as my dad has been in hospital again. Happily he is home now, although he has more tablets and daily injections to look forward to. We had several things to celebrate this week - birthdays for my youngest niece and my BIL, my oldest niece finishing her A level exams and a Pearl wedding anniversary for my sister.
On Saturday we took a little excursion to see the Olympic torch as it made it's nearest visit to us - I wasn't intending to go myself as I'm not really interested in the Olympics, or athletics in general. After all the heavy rain on Friday we were very lucky that the morning remained dry.
On Sunday we went to Leighton Moss - I have a new pair of binoculars which I wanted to try out.
